Before this, the company experienced a stock value decline exceeding 8% when it executed a 10-for-1 stock split to boost market liquidity. After the company conducted its August 2024 reverse stock split that merged 10 shares into one. The rapid price jump of Metaplanet stock made it challenging for investors to enter the market which led the company to perform the stock split for better accessibility. The company monitors BTC Yield which measures Bitcoin position changes by comparing them to the number of fully diluted shares.
