Copy Trading Private Mode: A Must-Read for Elite Traders

Private mode consists of four core features: (1) whitelist, (2) trading bot protection, (3) profit share ratio configuration, and (4) customized follower management. Refer to Bitget Launches Private Mode for Copy Trading for details. With private mode: You will not be included in our Top Traders/All Traders/Leaderboard on the copy trading homepage. Existing followers and profit share won't be affected. Once toggled on, only whitelisted users can copy your trades. Once toggled on, traders can only follow you via your exclusive invite link. Under private mode, elite traders can adjust their profit-sharing ratio for users following via the whitelist link. If you adjust the profit share ratio, new orders will use the new ratio, while existing orders will continue to apply the old one. When you disable private mode: Existing followers will not be affected, and all users can now follow you. All whitelist links will expire, but existing whitelist information will be recorded. Profit share ratio will be based on your level and the number of BGB locked. How to enable private mode? Head to the Bitget website or app, go to copy trading page, click Be an Elite Trader, fill out the application, and toggle Private mode on. If you’re already an Elite Trader, head to your copy trading profile page > Enable private mode. How to generate a whitelist link? Step 1: Set up your invitation title (optional). Step 2: Set up the link validity period. Step 3: Set up the maximum number of invitees. Step 4: Generate your invitation link and share it among your friends followers. QA What is the maximum limit of followers under private mode? Say an elite trader generates 1000 whitelist links, but the maximum number of followers for this elite trader is 500, then the actual maximum number of followers under private mode is 550 (with a 10% boost applied once followers reach 500). That is to say: Elite traders can generate links for any number of invitees based on their own preferences.
