Bitget Wallet , a leading Web3 non-custodial wallet, has released its latest Onchain Report , exploring the key factors influencing crypto payment adoption across regions. The global study, based on a survey of 4,599 respondents, revealed that 46% of users surveyed prefer crypto payments for speed, while 37% cite security risks as a key barrier. Regional adoption trends show that Africa (52%) and Southeast Asia (51%) lead in demand for faster payments, driven by limited banking access and high remittance costs. Across regions, limited merchant acceptance (31%) continues to be a major barrier, preventing crypto from being a widely used everyday payment method. Generational differences reveal that Gen X (49%) prioritizes speed, while Millennials (42%) and Gen Z (39%) favor borderless transactions. Security concerns are highest among Gen X (42%), while Gen Z (36%) is more sensitive to transaction fees. While younger users are more willing to integrate crypto into their daily financial activities, usability challenges and a lack of financial infrastructure remain key hurdles for broader adoption. The main driver in Western Europe is the speed and efficiency of crypto transactions with 37% of respondents favoring it. The ability to transfer funds quickly without the delays associated with traditional banking systems is a significant advantage, particularly beneficial for international transactions, where conventional methods can be slow and costly. Additionally, the study reveals that 35% of surveyed individuals are drawn to cryptocurrencies primarily for the privacy and anonymity they offer in transactions. This interest aligns with a growing desire for financial discretion, especially as digital payments become more prevalent. From the main drivers, the potential for value appreciation over time attracts 30% of surveyed Western European users to cryptocurrencies. With traditional investment avenues offering limited returns, many see crypto assets as a viable alternative for wealth growth, bolstered by the increasing mainstream acceptance of digital currencies. Despite the advantages, security risks remain the main barrier in the region with 39% of surveyed Western Europeans apprehending potential hacks and fraud. Furthermore, 29% surveyed individuals are wary of the limited acceptance of cryptocurrencies among merchants and service providers, creating a gap between growing interest and practical utility of digital currencies for everyday transactions. Solana (SOL) , one of the top-performing altcoins of the last cycle, is now facing a critical technical moment. After a turbulent start to 2025 marked by a prolonged downtrend, the token is showing early signs of a potential trend shift. With recent price stabilization and a gradual climb from local lows, traders and investors alike are watching closely for the next big move. Is Solana preparing for a breakout that could reignite bullish momentum, or is this just another deceptive bounce before further downside? Let’s dive into the charts and indicators to find out what’s next. Solana (SOL) has been slowly climbing out of a multi-week downtrend that began after its local high near $210 in late December 2024. After bottoming out near the $120 level in early March, SOL price has shown signs of stabilization. This latest consolidation phase hints at an impending breakout—or a potential fakeout that could catch traders off guard. On the daily chart, SOL price has reclaimed the 20-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) and is attempting to establish support above it. However, the price is still below the 50-day and 100-day SMAs, which currently act as dynamic resistance levels near $154 and $183, respectively. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at 48.29, marginally below the neutral 50 mark. While this shows recovery from the oversold levels seen earlier in March, it also reflects hesitation. RSI’s inability to push above 50 suggests that buying pressure remains tentative, and a sharp move in either direction could follow. It’s worth noting that the RSI has formed a higher low, which typically precedes a price rally. But for confirmation, the RSI must break above 55–60 territory. Until then, the risk of range-bound or downward movement still lingers. On the support side, $130 stands out as the immediate psychological and technical level. If SOL fails to hold above this zone, the next major demand region lies around $120, where the recent bottom was formed. On the upside, the $145–$155 range represents the first major challenge, aligning with both price structure and the 50-day SMA. A clean breakout above this band would open the gates to $170 and potentially retest $183—where the 200-day SMA looms. This pattern often precedes a breakout move, and the confluence of narrowing candles with rising volume could confirm such a move soon. However, without a decisive close above $155 and sustained buying pressure, the risk of a bull trap remains high. Volume analysis and RSI divergence will be critical in the next few sessions. If buyers step in strongly on higher-than-average volume while RSI climbs above 50, it may validate a genuine breakout. On the contrary, a failed test of the $145–$150 resistance zone followed by a breakdown below $130 would likely trigger a retest of March lows. If bulls manage to push Solana price above $155 in the next few days, the next price target lies around $170, with a bullish extension potentially reaching $200 within the next few weeks. However, failure to do so could result in a pullback toward $130 or even $120 before any sustainable rally takes place. Overall, Solana is at a pivotal technical juncture. The price is compressing between short-term moving averages and horizontal resistance, indicating a strong move is imminent. Whether it's upward or downward depends on how price reacts to the $145–$155 resistance range in the coming sessions.

Telos has integrated with several platforms across the crypto ecosystem as it looks to unlock cross-chain liquidity and decentralized finance opportunities. The Telos Foundation announced the expansion via X, noting that Telos now leverages the technology and solutions of Stargate, BitGo, and Circle to enhance network security, accessibility, and liquidity. Specifically, Telos is tapping into Stargate, a cross-chain liquidity protocol built on LayerZero, to enable multi-chain native asset transfers. This integration will allow users to bridge tokens between Telos and 30 other networks, opening new opportunities in a multi-chain decentralized finance ecosystem. Other integrations include with Hydra, a part of Stargate v2 to bring assets such as wrapped Bitcoin ( wBTC ), USDC ( USDC ) and Tether ( USDT ) to Telos. “By bringing high-value, widely used tokens to Telos, Hydra enhances liquidity accessibility and fosters deeper DeFi engagement,” Telos Foundation wrote. Telos’ wBTC and USDC integration is via BitGo and Circle, with the two companies among top ecosystem providers. Partnering with BitGo not only brings wBTC to Telos, but also ensures this happens with the support of a provider that can unlock liquidity for institutional access on the platform. Circle allows for a bridged version of its USDC stablecoin to go live on Telos, with this offering the option for native USDC to deploy on the Telos mainnet. According to DeFiLlama, the total value locked in DeFi protocols on Telos is currently around $16.6 million. The Telos TVL is spread across decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, real-world asset platforms and liquid staking providers among others. Telos Foundation said in the announcement that the upgrades and integrations it has secured will be crucial to the Telos blockchain’s interoperability and footprint in DeFi. “The road is now open for massive liquidity to flow into the ecosystem, making Telos a prime destination for DeFi users and developers,” it noted.
