Popular TV Series "Peaky Blinders" to be Adapted into Blockchain-Based Video Game and Web3 Ecosystem
According to CoinDesk, the popular TV series "Peaky Blinders" is set to be adapted into a blockchain-based video game and a broader Web3 ecosystem. The series has garnered over 80 million viewers through platforms like Netflix. This adaptation is being advanced by Web3 development agency Anonymous Labs in collaboration with rights holder Banijay Rights. The game is positioned as a AAA title, set in the streets of 1920s England, where players can engage through high-risk missions and create family enterprises.
The project development lead Wojciech Gruszka stated that this will be the largest IP entry into the blockchain sector to date. The game will feature digital collectibles and blockchain-based community interaction mechanisms, aiming to draw traditional audiences into the crypto world through immersive storytelling. Anonymous Labs previously successfully operated the "Simon's Cat" animation IP token project. Specifics about the token mechanism, launch timeline, and economic model have not yet been disclosed.
