French Bank Launches €25 Million Fund to Invest in Emerging French Crypto Projects Targeting Innovation and Growth
The new initiative will focus on supporting smaller, newly-created tokens developed by French teams, with potential assistance for their listings on crypto exchanges. This strategic move is part of the bank's broader plan to boost the growth of blockchain technologies and the digital asset market in France. The fund will specifically target emerging tokens from French projects, providing financial support before they are listed on exchanges to promote innovation and growth in the French crypto industry. Bpifrance has a successful track record of supporting over 200 blockchain startups with investments exceeding €150 million, and plans to continue this commitment over the next four years to further accelerate the growth of crypto ventures in France. Despite the volatility of the crypto market, Bpifrance's investments have remained active and are experiencing strong growth, aligning with the bank's ambition to double its investments by 2029 in response to the evolving global crypto landscape.
