DeFi protocol Linear Finance announced that it will cease operations
On March 27th, according to official sources, DeFi protocol Linear Finance announced that it will cease operations. The project has been dedicated to innovation and development over the years, but has failed to achieve sustainable returns. Apart from a brief profit in early 2019/2020, Linear Finance has been facing increasing financial pressure. The project's funding mainly comes from personal contributions of the project owners and token liquidation, but this model is no longer viable. Binance has decided to delist the LINA token, exacerbating the project's financial difficulties, leading to a 65% decrease in market value and a significant reduction in remaining operating funds. Therefore, the main stakeholders of the project have collectively decided to end operations. The operating team will contact users with active positions as soon as possible and provide a detailed timetable and guidance.
