Deutsche Bank: Trump administration's Bitcoin reserve is more like a reclassification, how it operates still has many unknowns
Marion Laboure, the Managing Director and Macro Strategist at Deutsche Bank, stated that the Trump administration's Bitcoin reserves are a continuation of many initiatives in the broader digital asset industry in 2024. It seems more like a reclassification with nothing new, but there are still many unknowns about how it operates because so far we know nothing about the quotas for cryptocurrencies in reserve, not much is known about the asset portfolio or timeline. Cryptocurrencies as an asset class still have high volatility and besides Bitcoin and Ethereum, many cryptocurrencies still carry certain risks.
