Crypto Price Today (March 10, 2025): Bitcoin Dips to $80k; ETH, XRP, SOL Falls 6% in 24 Hours

The price of Bitcoin has fallen as low as $80,200 today as the crypto market witnessed a huge sell-off during the weekend. Following Bitcoin price, major altcoins like ETH, XRP and SOL have also dropped 6% in the past 24 hours. 

At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading near $81,800 with a 24 hour trading volume of $39.95 billion. It has declined over 4.8% today while overall down 11% in the past 7 days. The drop in Bitcoin price has followed increased tension in the crypto market after Friday’s crypto summit held by Trump at the White House.

While Bitcoin falls nearly 5%, Ethereum has fallen as low as $1,999 from the daily high of $2,175, down nearly 4% in the past 24 hours. XRP price has also taken a hit with it falling 3% to as low as $2.1 while currently trading at $2.25 in a sudden pump. 

Solana (SOL) on the other hand has continued with volatile momentum with it falling to daily low of $124.72, now trading at $130 – down 6% in the past 24 hours.

Other notable altcoins like MOVE, KAS, JASMY, and MKR have declined over 10% while RENDER, ENS, ONDO, NEAR and INJ have shrinked 6% today. Meanwhile ENA has pumped nearly 9% in the past 24 hours with it currently trading at $0.47 – as per Coinmarketcap data .
