According to Forbes business reporter Eleanor Terrett, the Republican group in the U.S. House of Representatives held a "Cryptocurrency Luncheon" this afternoon to discuss digital asset policy initiatives and legislative matters.
Attendees included political figures such as Republican Whip Tom Emmer and Representative Bryan Steil, as well as representatives from several institutions in the crypto industry. The industry organizations present included the Digital Chamber and Blockchain Association, while corporate representatives came from well-known cryptocurrency and blockchain companies such as Paradigm, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Anchorage, and Digital Currency Group (DCG).
