A whale during the Ethereum ICO period transferred 6022 ETH to the Ethereum Foundation address 2 hours ago
According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), the Ethereum ICO whale address transferred 6022 ETH worth about $12.34 million to an address related to the Ethereum Foundation (0x22d...01246) two hours ago.
The whale obtained 560,000 ETH at a cost of $0.31 during the Ethereum ICO phase and had previously distributed funds to 4 addresses. Over the past two years, the whale has transferred a total of 105,522 ETH to the current address, mainly used for LRT protocol staking.
Currently, the whale still holds 280,000 ETH, distributed across three addresses:
Multisig address 0x207...6a7f7: holding 139,678 ETH
Multisig address 0xe08...5ca18: holding 55,000 ETH
Address 0x22d...01246 (address related to the Ethereum Foundation): holding 85,622 ETH
On-chain data shows that this address received a transfer of 4 million DAI from the Ethereum Foundation in May 2022.
