Report: Crypto Investors to Make Average Profit of $5,482 by 2024; ETH, ADA and POL Lead the Decline
On 20 February, a new report from cryptocurrency tax software platform CoinLedger showed that the average crypto investor will make $5,482 in 2024, up 518 percent from $887.60 in 2023, The Block reported. The data is based on more than 500,000 users, 80 per cent of whom are from the United States.
According to the report, SUPER, HYPE and Bitcoin contributed to the largest unrealised gains, and CoinLedger CEO David Kemmerer said that the 2024 presidential election drove enthusiasm for digital assets to new highs. On the other hand, Ether led the decline due to increased competition from Solana, with ADA, POL, ATOM and CRO rounding out the top five unrealised losses.
