On February 14, PANews reported that according to Cryptoslate, Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, stated that the emerging crypto-friendly environment in the United States will serve as a "boost" for his company's business. This is due to the many benefits brought by stablecoins and tokenization compared to traditional financial systems. During an interview with Bloomberg TV, Tenev praised this "innovation-encouraging system", which will drive the development of Robinhood's traditional business and crypto business as well as other key areas of its trading platform.

Crypto trading has become a crucial part of Robinhood's business, bringing in $358 million in transaction-based revenue, accounting for 53% of total revenue. Regarding this line of business, Tenev confirmed that using stablecoins is one way to facilitate inflows and outflows between cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies because it allows transactions to continue without interruption. He also added that this applies to regular trades, liquidity pools and trades involving traditional illiquid private assets other than fund transfers. However, Tenev warned that in order to compete with other ways of holding and trading dollars, stablecoins must generate returns. When asked about Robinhood's recent plans regarding tokenization,Tenev said he believes tokenized private company stocks resonate most with American investors.
