OpenAI CEO: Trump's new administration is a "breath of fresh air" for the tech industry
According to Fortune, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated in an interview before the Paris AI Action Summit that Trump's new administration is a "breath of fresh air" for the tech industry, with its low-regulation policies bringing significant changes to Silicon Valley.
Altman had previously donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration fund and jointly announced with the president a $500 billion AI infrastructure project called Stargate.
Altman said that the US tech industry is full of anticipation for current development prospects, "We can now rebuild semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in America, develop robot factories, build data centers, and promote new energy development."
