A man in the UK is considering buying a landfill to retrieve a hard drive containing 8000 BTC
On February 10th, according to The Guardian, IT engineer James Howells from Newport, UK has spent a decade trying to locate his £600 million Bitcoin fortune that he believes is buried in a municipal landfill site in South Wales. He is considering buying the site to search for the missing wealth.
Last month, James Howells lost a case in the High Court of England and was unable to force Newport City Council to allow him to search the landfill site for a hard drive he claims contains 8000 Bitcoins.
