Early Ethereum Developer: The Ethereum Foundation lacks competitive awareness and is increasingly disconnected from the community
Early Ethereum developer Eric Conner posted on x, stating that as Vitalik gradually retreats behind the scenes, the opacity of the Ethereum Foundation (EF) and its disconnection from the community are becoming stronger. He pointed out that EF currently presents an "anti-victory and competitive mentality", which has led many community members to question whether they should continue to stay.
Eric stated that leadership, culture, and community are all important, but EF is currently more inclined to focus on "good intentions" and emotional issues rather than understanding the demands for change in the community. As an early participant in the Ethereum ecosystem and one of Ethhub's founders, Eric said he may have lost his enthusiasm for Ethereum but still hopes it can succeed.
