Market highlights

1. Most trending sectors are experiencing a downward trend, with a few exceptions. In the AI agent sector, the $MAX platform emerges as the sole market focus, showing unexpected growth. In the DeSci sector, $URO exhibits the weakest performance. The Trump-themed token $TRUMP leads the declines, while $HYPE continues its retreat after reaching a new high. 

2. Bitget's exclusive Launchpool project $SONIC: The project, a SOL-based gaming chain with deep TikTok integration, gains traction. It debuted simultaneously on top South Korean exchanges, with market speculation temporarily driving its APR to 247.06%. 

3. A poll by The POL platform reveals that $XRP has overtaken $ETH to become South Korea's second most popular cryptocurrency. Meanwhile, BIO Protocol announces the launch of six new IP tokens, targeting areas such as Alzheimer's and ovarian aging. These tokens have market caps ranging from $900,000 to $4 million.

4. During his keynote at CES 2025, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the transformative potential of AI agents, predicting the sector could become the next trillion-dollar robotics industry. However, Elon Musk clarified that X Payments has no immediate plans to integrate cryptocurrency. 

 

Market overview

1. Bitcoin falls by thousands of points, pulling the broader market down with it. However, some low-cap altcoins have surged amid the volatility, with the new token $SINOC showing notable gains. Among the top 50, only $BGB recorded positive growth.

2. Tech stocks drag U.S. markets: The NASDAQ-100 suffers its largest three-week drop, with NVIDIA and Tesla stocks declining by over 6% and 4%, respectively. 

3. Currently standing at 96,879 USDT, Bitcoin is in a potential liquidation zone. A 1000-point drop to around 95,879 USDT could trigger over $217 million in cumulative long-position liquidations. Conversely, a rise to 97,879 USDT could lead to more than $202 million in cumulative short-position liquidations. Both long and short positions should exercise caution and manage leverage prudently to avoid large-scale liquidations. 

4. Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin saw $4.1 billion in inflows and $4.5 billion in outflows, resulting in a net outflow of $400 million. 

5. In the last 24 hours, $BTC, $ETH, $DOGE, $SOL and $XRP led in net outflows in futures trading, signaling potential trading opportunities. 

6. Latest data from SoSoValue: U.S. BTC spot ETFs recorded a single-day outflow of $457 million, bringing cumulative inflows to $36.441 billion, with total holdings reaching $114.2 billion. ETH spot ETFs experienced a single-day outflow of $19.15 million, reducing cumulative inflows to $2.749 billion, with total holdings at $12.858 billion. Both saw substantial outflows compared to the previous day.
