Shaw, a partner at ai16z, explained the relationship structure between project-related entities on X platform:
ai16z is a permissionless DAO, which includes ai16z and degenai
elizaOS is an open-source AI agent framework
Eliza Labs is responsible for building elizaOS
ELIZA tokens are operated by an independent team, recognized but not an official project
Shaw emphasizes that DAO is permissionless because it is launched fairly without entities, team allocation, venture capital, or anything else. Although supporting and recognizing the ELIZA token project, the project is a different team from ai16z.
Shaw stated that this clarification was issued to avoid confusion in the community, and the project itself has not undergone any changes.
