OpenAI's Sora text-to-video tool leaked by beta tester
early testers of OpenAI's unreleased text-to-video tool Sora leaked access to the new model in protest, claiming that OpenAI exploited their vulnerabilities in its latest text-to-video model Sora. The leak was carried out collectively by a group of artists and beta testers under the username "PR-Puppets". On November 26, the team released what appeared to be a frontend version of Sora software on the AI development platform HuggingFace, allowing anyone to use the tool for creative purposes - however, OpenAI reportedly intervened and shut it down.
