Solana Joint Creation: Solana's strategic focus includes building a strong L1 chain and achieving synchronous composability
On November 10, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko stated in a recent interview: "In my view, scalability, infrastructure focus and transaction efficiency are the three major advantages of Solana." He indicated that Solana's strategic focus is to build a strong L1 chain capable of supporting high throughput without needing an L2 solution. Another key factor is synchronous composability, where multiple applications can interact in real time on a single chain. Single shard chains or application-specific L2s cannot support this level of composability, thus limiting scalability. Yakovenko believes that Solana's strength lies in its execution power. While Ethereum is expanding through L2, Solana's development remains focused on perfecting its L1. He also pointed out that the core potential of Solana lies in improving its infrastructure to support fairer and more open transaction processing.
