Metis is an Ethereum Layer-2 Optimistic rollup platform, originally originated from a branch of Optimism. It was launched on the mainnet on November 19, 2021.
 
On October 16th, METIS officially announced that in the past 5 days, the trading volume of the Metis platform has significantly increased by 640%, exceeding 7 times. This surge in activity has brought many benefits to participants in the entire ecosystem. @TheHerculesDEX's trading volume has reached a historic high, and users assigned to the Dividends plugin by xTORCH will see a sharp increase in commission income rewards. At the same time, as the trading volume increases, the transaction fee income of decentralized serializers is also increasing, and miners will receive more rewards.
