Kiyosaki predicts Bitcoin could reach $500,000 by 2025
Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) could surge to $500,000 by 2025 and potentially hit $1 million by 2030.
He shared his forecast on social media platform X, citing the upcoming book Money GPT by Jim Rickards as a key influence.
According to Kiyosaki, Rickards' analysis of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential impact on the global financial system points to economic instability, which could drive Bitcoin's price higher.
Kiyosaki emphasised the significance of Rickards' book, calling it "the most important book today."
He warned that AI could destabilise the financial system by removing human oversight, potentially leading to crises.
Rickards' work argues that AI’s influence on the global economy could accelerate financial instability, urging for human logic to intervene before AI reshapes monetary systems.
Kiyosaki's own predictions have garnered attention over the years.
He previously forecasted a massive economic crash followed by a bull market, where Bitcoin could skyrocket to $10 million, and gold and silver would also see dramatic increases in value.
His latest comments echo concerns over declining trust in fiat currencies and historical trends that favor alternative investments during periods of economic uncertainty.
In his recent post on X, Kiyosaki reiterated his belief that Bitcoin's price is "about to explode" as the Federal Reserve lowers interest rates.
He anticipates that investors will shift away from what he calls "fake assets" and move toward Bitcoin, gold, and silver.
Kiyosaki also advised his followers to invest in BTC, gold, and silver, calling the US dollar "trash" and suggesting that economic crises will drive further interest in cryptocurrencies and precious metals.
At the time of reporting, the Bitcoin price was $62,931.84.
