Chainlink has transferred over 200 million dollars worth of LINK to CEX in the past 5 hours
According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, in the past 5 hours, Chainlink has unlocked and transferred out 18.75 million LINK (worth $214.6 million) from 5 non-circulating supply addresses: of which, 18.125 million LINK (worth $207.5 million) were transferred into Binance; 625 thousand LINK ($7.15 million) went to the multi-signature address of 0xD50...8Af. Every three months, about 20 million LINK are unlocked and transferred out from Chainlink's non-circulating supply addresses. Most go directly into Binance, with a small portion going to the address of 0xD50...8Af (some of the LINK that goes to this address enters the LINK staking reward distribution contract for distributing rewards to staking users). Since 2022, approximately133.4 million LINK (worth $1.29 billion) have been unlocked and flowed into Binance in this way at an average transfer price of $9.69 per link token . Although large amounts of Link tokens are unlocked quarterly and flow into Binance , it does not cause a significant drop in Link prices each time after they enter Binance.
