Faraway acquires two major game IPs "HV-MTL" and "Legendsofthe Mara" from Yuga Labs
On April 18th, game studio Faraway announced on X platform that it has acquired two major game IPs, "HV-MTL" and "Legendsofthe Mara", from Yuga Labs. This acquisition is part of Faraway's strategy to build an interoperable game ecosystem, and new point systems and more integration will be introduced in these two games to further enhance the IPs.
Previously reported, in November 2021, Faraway completed a $21 million Series A financing round with FTX and Lightspeed Venture Partners leading, and participation from a16z, Solana, Jump Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Pantera Capital, among others.
