WorldCoin has announced the launch of its Layer 2 network, World Chain, which is expected to go live later this summer. The aim is to build a financial and identity network. Worldchain is an OP Stack chain that will focus on scalability, with the near-term goal of significantly increasing the gas limit for Layer 2 blocks.
