Worldcoin Releases Orb Privacy and Security Audit Report
Worldcoin has released the Orb privacy and security audit report, which was completed by Trail of Bits. Three advisors conducted a six-week review in total. The auditors were given full access to the source code and runtime access to two evaluations of Orb. The report describes potential attack surfaces (TOB-ORB-4, TOB-ORB-5, TOB-ORB-10, and TOB-ORB-11), but their conclusion is: "Our analysis did not find any vulnerabilities in the Orb code that could be directly exploited in relation to the described project objectives." In addition, although Trail of Bits' review identified some unconfirmed issues that could theoretically affect the project objectives, and the affected code has been updated, the audit did not find any instances directly affecting the project objectives, either through known vulnerabilities or during normal execution.
