According to on-chain analyst EmberCN, BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes has transferred over $1 million worth of GMX tokens to centralized exchanges. Hayes had controlled the largest personal address for GMX holders since 2022, but on Sunday he transferred all his 237,000 GMX to a newly created address, which subsequently sent 41,000 GMX to Binance, OKX and Bybit. The newly created address is believed to belong to algorithmic trading firm Wintermute, and Hayes' GMX tokens may be entrusted to Wintermute for sale or over-the-counter trading. GMX is currently trading at $41.54, down more than 54% from its all-time high of $91.07.
