SlowMist Weekly Safety Report: Total losses this week exceed $11.42M
SlowMist released its weekly security report (February 25 - March 2, 2024).
Shido Network's SHIDO token staking contract was manipulated, with hackers extracting and selling tokens worth 692 ETH, resulting in a total loss of $2.1 million.
Grayscale Capital's website was attacked: the official website was hit by the anti-capitalist hacker group Capital Killer's digital hammer. Although the main site was damaged, the GBTC page remained operational.
Serenity Shield's wallet was hacked: the MetaMask wallet associated with the project was compromised, resulting in the theft of 6.9 million SERSH tokens, equivalent to $586,000.
Seneca's exploitation and partial return: hackers stole over 1,900 ETH ($6.5 million) through a contract loophole. The next day, 1,537 ETH was returned to Seneca's deployer address.
MicroStrategy's Twitter trap: a phishing link posted from a compromised account resulted in the theft of $440,000 worth of assets.
RiskOnBlast user wallet was drained of 420 ETH (approximately $1.3 million).
Total losses for the week exceeded $11.42 million.
