Ripple lawyer: SEC has personal bias in how it handles crypto cases

Deaton said he was not surprised by the development, which shows that the SEC has personal biases in handling encryption cases. He stated on the X platform: "The SEC blatantly ignores Congress's demands, and even Democrats like Ritchie Torres recognize that Gensler and the SEC have lost control."
