So, Ethereum just pulled off a wild rally breaking free from a 10-week slump that bottomed out at $1,385. I’ll admit, I didn’t see that kind of surge coming so soon. Over $400 million in short ETH futures were liquidated clearly, whales and market makers got caught napping. But here’s where it gets interesting. Despite this massive move, $ETH derivatives markets aren't exactly screaming “bull run.” The futures premium hasn’t even touched the 5% mark, which usually signals a neutral market. That tells me traders still aren’t loading up on leverage, and that kind of caution might mean the rally isn’t as strong as it looks on the surface. Also, $ETH has underperformed compared to the broader altcoin market by about 17% so far in 2025. That kind of lag really drags on investor confidence. Sure, Trump’s apparent reversal on altcoins has helped shift sentiment, and that’s no small thing but it's not the same as improved fundamentals or network growth. Some people are saying this could just be more short covering and not the start of something bigger. I’m watching closely, especially if we test $2,000 again. If ETH clears that level with volume and stronger ETF demand, then we might be cooking with gas. Until then, I’m cautiously optimistic but I’m not throwing my full weight behind the pump just yet. With this partnership, Arkham’s liquidity venues and order types will now be natively accessible to Haruko’s users, enabling them to open and manage their spot and derivatives positions on the Arkham Exchange. Users will be able to do this directly from their Haruko account’s interface. The integration means institutional investors will be able to route orders to the Arkham Exchange via Haruko Haruko allows market participants to access key functionalities such as multi-venue execution and risk analytics from a unified interface. Earlier this year, Arkham unveiled a new tagging system that sees its users track the crypto transactions of influential figures within the crypto industry.
