What Is Autonolas (OLAS)?
Autonolas is the answer to the limitations of smart contracts, such as continuously running or accessing data on different chains or via external APIs. Autonolas proposes complete autonomy in the digital space, especially for DAOs, who, until now, can't go fully decentralised because they need external actors to interact with smart contracts for continuous operations.
How Does Autonolas (OLAS) Work?
Autonolas has a unique architecture that can be rearranged to satisfy every user's needs. The four composable elements of Autonolas are:
• a multi-agent system framework that allows developers to easily create applications with specific requirements
• consensus for agent services (i.e. autonomous software services) to ensure trustless and non-conflicting operations
• architecture of crypto-native off-chain services that creates a temporary blockchain for P2P communication between centralised applications
• the on-chain protocol, which facilitates a safe and secure coordination of software code on the public blockchain.
The OLAS token is designed to be the Autonolas' ecosystem binder. OLAS will, first and foremost, serve as a means of coordination between participants in the ecosystem for autonomous services to be created, operated and sustained efficiently. It can also be distributed to developers in proportion to their on-chain contributions and used to foster community growth.
